Jia's Bedroom ....

Jia's bedroom is almost done. Just a few finishing touches and it will be complete. This room was known as the "catch all room" if it didn't have a home this is where it lived. We removed the wallpaper, removed the popcorn ceiling, painted the trim, replaced the doors and painted the walls. Now I am trying to get the rest of the projects around the house done before we bring her home. It's never ending.

  1. LOOKS AWESOME!!! I painted Abby's room a similar shade of green... I think it is sooo soothing. Love the Tiger by the crib! Isn't it surreal to walk in Jia's bedroom and know that in a few weeks she will be home???

  7. Hi Kelly,

I hopped on over to your blog via Stepanie's blog. I wanted to congratulate you on your referral. Jia is so precious. We just returned home from China on August 13th with our little Chongqing angel. Our daughter was in the Qianjiang SWI. We stayed in the city of Chongqing...that's were we met our daughter. Do you know if you will do the same? I'm so excited for you to travel there. It's a very neat city...very different from Beijing!

Congratulations again and feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions!

  10. Love the room you two did a great job! Don't stress about all there is to do, it will never end. But kids grow up so fast so don't worry about all the other stuff that can wait.
Once again so happy for you guys!
