  14. Congrats on your daughter. We have a Dianjiang girl as well. We travelled in October of 07 to Chongqing. Would be glad to share info. Be sure and visit the Dianjiang website to see more information and possibly see more picts of your baby. Other parents post picts of all the babies there when they travel. We found lots of our baby when she was much younger. Email me and ill send you the address and password. Our blog has pictures of our trip to Chongqing.

  17. Hi! First of all...a huge congratulations to you both! You must be absolutely thrilled! She's gorgeous! And I'm so excited that you get to travel so soon! Amazing!

Second of all, three weeks ago, my husband and I received the referral of a beautiful baby girl (in the SN program) who is also from the DJ SWI!!! We have no idea when we'll travel...we're hoping soon!

We've heard really great things about the DJ SWI...that they really take care of the children and have a small nanny to child ratio. Our agency feels very assured that our girl is there...and so do we!

Again...Congrats!!!! I'm excited to follow along as you go to meet her.

  18. Oh what a little doll! Congratulations to you both. My daughter is also from Dianjiang and we traveled in March of 07, did a tour of the orpahage and had a chance to see the babies that were in their care at that time. Miah was in foster care for several months as well as living the orphanage. I would love to answer any questions that you may have and there are a few resources you may find online as well for this orphanage. Again a heart felt congratulations!

  27. Congratulations from another Dianjiang Mum. We travelled to Chongqing in October 2008 and we were thrilled with the care our daughter had received. It is a beautiful area and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me acgarneau@shaw.ca. We have been home for a year now and looking at your pictures takes me right back to the moment we saw our daughter for the first time.

  28. Our daughter, too, is from Chongqing. She was from Nanchuan City SWI. We adopted her in 2007. I will warn you now, that CQ girls are among the most beautiful ladies in all of China. This is according to all Chinese. They also come with very "spicy" personalities. So be ready!! Chongqing is a lovely city. You will truly love your time there. Please visit my website to see pictures of our trip. http://waiting4karsynn.blogspot.com
